Over the course of the past few years I have written a lot of music for dance, installation, and concerts. It's very fulfilling and exhilarating to both perform and see my work presented in these situations, which are often one-night events. The downside is that no one ever sees/hears it again.

ACCOMPANIST is a release of three pieces that I'd like more people to hear. Breezy Night was written as part of a video installation created with Mara Leader and premiered at CURRENTS NEW MEDIA 2014. Chaff was written as part of a collective music performance titled Small Measures and curated by Steve Paxton. Ending At The Beginning was written for a dance and video piece by Mara Leader.

You won't hear any of the other elements of these pieces when you listen to this recording. If you see anything, that's all you. ACCOMPANIST is meant to be accompaniment standing alone.
